Directions to the seam: From Salida, take highway 50 east towards Canon City. About 4.5 miles outside of Salida, make a left at Wellsville and cross bridge/railroad tracks. Follow this dirt road parallel to the river heading downstream for approximately 4 miles and look for the glitter on your right. We'll set up camp in the open space near the power line.
